Candace Anderson

Safety Specialist

Candace has a multitude of work experience but found her calling in Safety while employed at Mortenson Construction and RK Industries, LLC.  She holds a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Georgia and a Master degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Candace is also OSHA30-Certified, a First Aid CPR/AED and MEWP Forklift Instructor. Combining her education in Psychology and safety experience, she builds a sound rapport with General Contractors, Subcontractors, vendors and staff.

Candace moved from Georgia to Colorado in 2015 to be closer to family and experience all that Colorado offers. When she’s not watching the English Premier League (European Futbol) or the Georgia Bulldogs, she can be found camping in the back country, hiking, or riding one of the many Colorado bike trails with her constant companion, Vyktor, a 7-year-old hound mix.

You may also find Candace working on her truck on weekends thanks to her stepfather, Norman, a retired Air Force Chief Master Sargent/Aircraft Mechanic. He would work on her car on the condition she was out there working with him. She has been working on cars for 33 years and enjoys a good debate with those mechanics who underestimate her automotive knowledge. Candace also has a love of fast cars thanks to her father, Bennie, also a retired Air Force Master Sargent. You’ll find her at Bandimere Speedway during the summer enjoying drag racing and the Mile High Nationals because NASCAR is too slow and they only make left turns.
