About Hector Escobar – Safety Specialist/Instructor
Hector Escobar is a bilingual Safety Professional. He has experience in Oil & Gas, manufacturing, and the construction industry. He began his career in Safety in 2005 and has worked for companies like Pavestone, Metro Masonry, Sisk & Company, Cleveland Construction, RK Mechanical, and Scott Contracting. Now he is a trainer, conducts site inspections, develops policy in English and Spanish, and assist with client needs. His passion is training in the classroom and the field. “Working in safety has given me a sense of value. I am doing something positive. I am protecting lives by letting Hispanic a non-Hispanic communities know that they have rights under the law and teaching them safe and productive work methods. Sometimes workers approach me with a thanks or a story about how I create an impact in their lives. This brings me great satisfaction as a professional.” Hector carries his CHST and is an OSHA 500 and 501 Instructor.
Hector is the father of three girls and is very proud to see how far they have come in life. He enjoys mother nature, hiking, and cycling. When he was young he played sports but enjoyed Soccer the most. Hector went to college in Ciudad Juarez Mexico but soon learned his future and what was best for his family was in the United States. He now calls Colorado his home.
