Mark has been in the construction industry most of his life. Starting on jobsites around 10 with his father who did basement foundations while he was growing up, to the safety consultant position he holds today. Mark came to MSC Safety Solutions with a wide construction background from Heavy Highway, Commercial construction, Underground Utilities, to the local oil Refinery. Some of the projects Mark has been on projects that include, the main entry and Lions exhibit at the Denver Zoo, the Twin Tunnel / Veterans Memorial Tunnels project at Idaho Springs, Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion Tower 1, and the I-70 over Havana bridge replacement. Mark is passionate about safety and the safety education of others. Everyone deserves the right to go home every day free from harm. He likes to do his part so his pillow can be his peace at night.
Did we mention children and grandbabies? Yes, Mark has 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls accompanied by 6 grandbabies that he shares with his wife of 31 years. They range in age from 6 mos-5 years. “All the little mini-me’s my children created make my heartbeat and keep my soul full! I love spending time as a family, these moments are priceless.” Mark and family have a passion and family history for drag racing and he uses his degree in auto mechanics to build and rebuild cars and is currently working on a vision for a future family race car.
